National Healthcare Decisions Day

On this day, people are asked to discuss their health care wishes with their family and to document these wishes through a living will, health care power of attorney, or other relevant documents.

If you don't make your wishes known and are unable to communicate them, medical professionals have certain obligations to your care that may not coincide with your preferences.

Catawba Regional Hospice offers toolkits to help folks understand and document their health care wishes, and we are happy to speak about advance care planning to churches, civic groups, businesses, etc.

For more information or to schedule a presentation, call 828.466.0466, x3217.
